Admission Policy
In the Department of Early Childhood Education (Normal Course), we look for students with a strong desire to nurture children who will forge the future, an interest in early childhood education and childcare, and a willingness to actively acquire the knowledge and skills required to be caregivers in society. We seek students who are autonomously engaged, with an interest in the field and practice of childcare.
In the Department of Early Childhood Education (Flexible Course), we look for students who will study for a period of three years whilst working. Students should have the strong desire to nurture children who will forge the future, an interest in early childhood education and childcare, and a willingness to actively acquire the knowledge and skills required to be caregivers in society. We seek students who are autonomously engaged with an interest in the field and practice of childcare.
Overview of learning
EarlyThe Department of Early Childhood Education (Normal Course) is a two-year course, while The Department of Early Childhood Education (Flexible Course) is a three-year couse with classes only in the morning. Students learn the basics of childcare in classes on campus, and enhance their learning through practical placements.
Topics
Shotoku-kai, an organization of 120 kindergartens and nursery schools in Aichi Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture, supports the training and development of excellent early years professionals.
